Hardcore worthwhile?
I can't find any information on these 'exclusive rewards' for completing stuff in hardcore mode, does anyone know anything about this?

The labyrinth boss would make me throw a controller for the first time since I was in middle school.

The developer site mentions the merchants in town are given the rewards.

It'll be hard to sort out which are hardcore and which random rings/ammies they spawn with when a new campaign is rolled, though, unless you have several people coordinating.

Multiplayer sometimes grants different gear, you can see different gear in different people's games, and you can see different gear when you reroll the campaign.

You'll have to sort which is actually new and from hardcore if they exist.
This is the answer, thank you!!

Just went back to Reggie, and he has the Drzyr Sigil on a brand new character.

So you think you need to create a new character or can you switch between hardcore and regular and still see the rewards?

The rings, amulets, etc. can be used on existing characters (tested on existing non hardcore character). I finished hardcore lowest difficulty but I didn't get starkiller or world's edge. I received Smolder and Sporebloom.

I just beat the game on softcore veteran and got Smolder and Sporebloom, so they are not Hardcore rewards.

Do we even get better loot and resources on high difficultys ?
I've heard other players say yes and the first game also worked like this. The first game also had exclusive hardcore rewards some of which were really, really good
I played the og. You can look up the difficulty stats for each difficulty and it's like 15% better drops for like scrap and iron per 50% enemy HP and Damage. There's no like "WOW YOU CAN GET A RARE RING". Not sure on this one, but I have a feeling it's the same thing.

Strange then I assume, I would need to play on a higher difficulty in hardcore to get the weapons then. Unless there is a different vendor that provides those weapons, I only spoke with the weapon vendor.

You're confusing higher difficulty with hardcore.

Higher difficulty gives more xp. Hardcore gives items.

In RftA, the items were freely GIVEN to every character you have, and every character you make from then on. In Remnant 2, the hardcore rewards are given to vendors, and you have to buy them, but you can still get them with every character from then on - hard or softcore.

I don't think difficulty matters regarding hardcore rewards. At least, it didn't in RftA, so I'm assuming this is the same. You could play on Survivor Hardcore and still get the items.

What matters, is which bosses you kill. You get a new item for each different world boss.

You should be able to swap and get the rewards. I don't see why they'd lock you out for already having a character.

Difficulty also seems to matter. It's probably fixed for each world boss and a completion for each difficulty as well.

Weapons are purchasable from the Weapons Dealer once Hardcore mode is over.

I am told worlds edge is in the game but not if its the hardest difficulty or hardcore mode. Personally i just want to know if hardcore items transfer to non hardcore characters like the first
