I got inflicted by it but didn't notice anything.

Anyone know? Google says that it will cause an inability to use your perks and skills but I can still use my skills so I'm not sure.

not sure but you can buy a ring that makes you completely immune to it that's what I did

Does it even do anything? lol

Suppression basically doubles the cooldown on class skills and cuts your mod generation in half on top of that. Very annoying in general especially with builds that rely on those more often. If you check your skill cooldown while suppressed it will reflect the increased duration

Might not be working properly is what i'm thinking. Suppression doesn't hinder you in any noticeable capacity as far as i'm aware other than being another thing on your screen.

Some people feel like they do less damage while suppression is active and it seems one of the more likely possibilities. It might also reduce stamina recovery/regen, or affect skill cooldowns.

Probably only one of those things if it does any of that. But yeah, it's only a small portion so sometimes you just don't notice. Over all, suppression is the lest noticed debuff because it really doesn't seem to be a direct danger.

This is the answer.

You can still use an already charged skill or mod, it will just take a lot longer to recharge it.

yeah this is the answer if you look at your skill cooldowns in the menu you'll see the cooldown time is doubled. very bad if you use skills alot.

figured it out after realising that most games use some form of blue X for silence debuffs usually and applied that logic and looked at my skills and stats. didnt look to see if mods where affected but i would say its safe to assume that mod generation would also be halved.

That makes a ton of sense thanks!

While I'm here if anyone wants to explain what stagger does I'm interested in that too lol. When I use War Stomp on enemies it gives them what I assume is a "stagger" debuff but what does that mean? I may just make a new discussion for the answer though.

Edit: Here's the topic on Stagger if anyone is interested in answering it (or finding the answer) https://steamcommunity.com/app/1282100/discussions/0/3807281795261302773/

I figured that this status effect would have minimal impact for most players. When I join the co-op sessions, people just plain don't use their skills. For my current build, suppression is quite the hindrance.
