Second Arcetype unlock?

How do you unlock your second Archetype? I seem to have mine, yet the mate I've been playing with doesn't. We both got the Medic pin then went to talk to the guy at the docks, yet he doesn't have the second side of the Archetype UI to slot in the Engram. We're both a bit confused.

Did both of you defeat the same bosses and have maxed out a trait or obtained 10 trait points?

Yeah, I only had 8 total trait points and that was the reason. As soon as I got the 10th one I was able to equip a second Archetype.

Find it, we found another secret archetype the summoner and we could get it even at lvl 8 first archetype.

To equip two archetypes at once requires having 10 trait points.

You need both an engram and 10 trait points earned/spent.

To get the engram you need to find it, most of the starting archetype engrams are bought from merchants I believe? I got hunter as my secondary by buying the medal from the arms dealer/shooting range dude. Once you have it, go to Wallace to unlock the archetype.

If you have the second archetype unlocked and 10 points spent, it should automatically allow you to choose your second archetype.
