Jumping Puzzle in The Lament

Which dev thought that implementing a jumping puzzle with a jumping mechanic the player has no real control over was a great idea?

I'm running back to it for the 20th time now (which takes 1-2 Minutes) and my character is still just jumping everywhere but where it should jump to. Its amazing how bad it is.

It's not a jumping puzzle. There's an invisible path you follow from pillar to pillar based on what rune the pillar has. On my game, it looked sort of like an arrow. if the pillar has a circle-cross or you can't see the rune because of damage to the pillar, there's no path to it. There's a clue to it somewhere in there, but it's really obscure, like most of the puzzles so far.

Handler kind of breaks this puzzle because the dog can show you the path. Anyone figure out the dial pattern

My dial pattern was all the runes for the pans covered by the blankets with black designs on them. I don't think order matters, and you can try it multiple times. There's a book with the pattern on the first page in the crypt room, by a skeleton.

you can also jsut shoot the space between the platforms, the bullets will impact the bridge and you can see where it is

bonus point if you use a crossbow or something else with a visivly stickign projectile

Each pillar you can walk to also has the same symbol on it. Once you find the first one, you should be able to walk to the others with the same symbol.

Aw yes.. Lament in Yaesha, the whole place make you feel like Indiana Jones on a rough day.
I'm glad there is no downside to dying.

I have tried all three and fallen through all of them there is no invisible bridge for me is this puzzle broken?

you can also shot between the pillars and if the bullets bounce, thats your path.

Like people have said its is not jumping puzzle. In maze with arrows you can see what symbol is correct one. And then there are invisible bridges connecting symbols so you just have to walk from symbol to symbol.

I never even figured out the clue, I just used a machinegun to shoot the ground to see where there were invisible bridges.
(Thanks to this topic for pointing out that it wasn't a jumping puzzle, I never would've figured it out)
