[SPOILERS] What happened to remnant 1's protagonist?

Clementine claims she saved the world, but she couldn't have done ♥♥♥♥ without remnant 1's protag, but I didn't see him yet and didn't see mention of him either.

Also didn't see female Ford, but I did see mudtooth, so probably not that much time passed since remnant 1?

So Brabus says he had his muddogs gang like 20 years ago, which means this game is at least 20 years after the first one, but Mud Tooth looks the same (and he was like 70 years old back then xD), Riggs and McCabe also look the same, it's like none of them aged.

I still didn't find the female Ford though...

You create your character so why would they sho him? What aren’t you understanding? You build your own canon there isn’t just one character. They could hide him under a mask so you don’t know if it’s a male or female but no either let us play as protag from first game or lets us play a new one and don’t show old protag

Yeah, at least 20 years have passed. Female Ford (ie Commander Ford) has died of old age. Actually, I thought McCabe was a younger grumpy woman in a hat in the first one, now she's a grey haired grumpy woman. I agree Riggs it was hard to tell any ageing, like Mudtooth. You are now "The Traveller", a random scavenger/survivor, and the previous hero (or "protag") is "The Wanderer" who is referred by people and the lore screen (one where it mentions one of the rings from Rhom that the Wanderer brought back, possibly to explain why it is in the game as I don't think Rhom is accessible in this one) and they saved the world or at least destroyed the Root on earth as a unified force. I haven't played enough to hear what happened to them. Possibly they went back to their tribe/group as per the original lore once the Atoll and the Root were resolved.

Ellen Ford died 20 years before this game happens. She got sick or something. Founder ford is still around. Hes almost 140 years old at this point. They don't explain it. The protagainst from the first game is refered to as the wanderer and people say they disappeared after the defeated the root.

That is the story we get from the first like 4 hours of the game. The game appears to be pretty lore heavy this time around and I have heard the story is quite a bit larger so there may be other reveals later.

I am half expecting we run into them at some point in the story. They may end up being a boss even or something lol.

Yeah, I also kinda hated that part. She claims that SHE saved the world, when in reality she was a whiney b*tch whose only purpose was to keep the gate open so we can kick some ass xD
