That really annoys me for distances you could just drop from, especially with how damn slow the animation is.
Really annoying considering the entire game has like 3 ladders with enough height to kill you if you miss it.
Ammo
Weapon recoil
Movement speed
Feels like the character is gimped by 20-30% in EVERYTHING... just to make theire trash rings and boring traits look good
In Remnant 1 it was not a problem because you could just buy everything, but with the trait cap in Remnant 2, this has become a problem.
Movement speed is another thing.
With higher movement speed you can dodge certain attacks, but you can also just navigate faster in dungeons & overworld.
I just wish we had a "out of combat bonus movement speed" (like the out of combat no stamina cost)
On topic, yes. Wayfarer for everybody, or at least for ladders.
They deserve a nerf, they're way too strong
But it seems that everyone is saying that anyway. The trait shows up too late and is not more valuable in any way than any other trait out there. Someone that hasn't found a trait to spend their points on, yet, probably wouldn't even put points into this because it still isn't useful enough over some other trait they might find later.
I agree with this, it's the same with all actions in the game, everything is super slow, reloading, using relic etc, because they wanted to make traits more relevant in the first game.
If this one we're stuck with slowpoke mode without having the traits to make it feel normal.
Also in case people don't know, if you press shift when going down or up a ladder it will speed up the animation a lot.
