Can't get Gunslinger

I've finished 2 worlds now, Yaesha and N'Erud, currently in Losomn. I've gone back to gear up and talk to Mudtooth. I had exhausted all his stories before hand. I came back and he still says he has no stories for me? I'm confused, I thought you could get Gunslinger after completing 2 worlds?

Finish the game, try then. If it doesn't work ask for refund cause I don't know what else we can do.

Gunslinger is unlocked early by pre-ordering any of the three versions of Remnant 2 in any of the available systems. For all the other players, they will have to obtain the Worn Cylinder first. Worn Cylinder can be obtained, after completing the second world and speaking with the Keeper, by asking Mudtooth about his stories multiple times. While Mudtooth's dialogue options can be exhausted in adventure mode, he will only give you the Worn Cylinder in campaign mode. The player must progress the main plot past the point of getting to Root Earth in order to receive the Worn Cylinder from Mudtooth. Otherwise, he will tell the player to come back later for more stories.

This is from the wiki...but it's kind of worded weird. Worst case scenario, there's a free crafting mod on Nexuxmods. it lets you craft all the Engrams (and hopefully merchant rings soon because ♥♥♥♥ you Cass).

I'm guessing they mean 2 worlds after the first one (so all 3 worlds)

No it's definitely after 2 worlds. You have to see the cutscene with clem tho. Did you visit her and gave the keeper the 2 segments ?

Hard to say since a lot of things seem to unlock or get blocked randomly for a lot of people. I know one thing, I killed last boss then went to mudtooth and he had the items.

I got the gunslinger when i delivered the seconded "fragment" to the labyrinth. and talked to Mudtooth. I had to ask for more conversations 2 times, then i got the gunslinger. First time i talked to him after the second fragment i got the necklaces and then the revolver part

Ah yeah, I haven't gone and given the Keeper the second fragment yet. I was planning to turn them all in at the same time. I guess I gotta turn that in and then come back to Mudtooth.

i had to reach earth root(last world for final boss) before mudtooth finally gave the gunslinger cylinder.

I just wanted to confirm this is exactly what it is. And once you deliver that 2nd fragment to the labryinth it unlocks the final area, the "root world" or w/e and then you can crystal back to town and do the last convo

He says that then says more later. Keep checking back on him as you progress campaign.

I looked up how to get this on Google and it seems there is a lot of different information on how to get it. Started as a Hunter, and did not pre-order.

If you pre-ordered you can get it right away apparently; strange unlock imo since it seems many people want this and not allowing them to get it if they missed when the game was released is kind of ♥♥♥♥♥♥ to be honest.

Then I read I had to complete 4 worlds and obviously ask the old fart about stories. I'm now currently at the end boss I think (warped Groot boss in destroyed human world), and the old fart tells me 'come back later for more stories' or something to that effect.

So I finished 4 'worlds' and he still won't let me get it. One Google result said I needed to beat the game first... right?

At the release, there was a bug (since fixed) that prevented to get the gunslinger.

If you have an issue now, make a new thread as the issue won't be the same.
