Couldn't agree more, got my lever action to +15 and regretted it, I beat the game but...honestly I want to make a new character just to deliberately never raise past +10ish tops.
Every Single Enemy is tankier now than they were before, and deal tons of damage, plus my archetypes cap out their damage/abilities at 10, so...I'd be better off as a summoner/handler or Summoner/Engineer just maxing archetype and putting like +5 on a gun lol.
Really wish we could choose the difficulty of an adventure, with scaling resource drops or something.
Armor set bonuses, they were always relevant regarldess of difficulty, the mutators only are relevant on maxed guns
All guns you got were 2-3 levels bellow your curent power so it was just a few upgrades to use them
Armor upgrades, allowed the player to increase survivability to the same level of guns
Geting more and more traits, while you level up most of the best traits first you did continously progress where reloading, stamina regen, gun swaping speed were small bonuses but together they gave your character a lot of utility
Economy, not using all your resorces on silly things also helped
Less puzzles and secrets, while not an obvious nerf...in remnant 2 you spend a lot of your time doing silly things....wich means you are not killing or opening chests wich means in remnant 1 you got a lot more rewards simply based on the fact you were always fighting
It's rough honestly.
