Weakspot damage on melee weapons
So I noticed that melee weapons have varying amounts of weakspot damage, but how are you supposed to make use of it. You just.. swing. You can't aim, right? Or am I missing something. You just 'hit' or you don't. There is no targetting of sorts, so how would one make use of it anyway?

Some moves will be more likely to hit weakspot.
For example, flails will hit enemies' head when you hold charged attack.

There's also a particular sword that can deal weakspot damage reliably.

Sounds weird, but okay. Thanks

Certain weapons have attacks that are more likely to hit a weak spot, like greatsword and claw neutral evade attacks aiming for enemy heads. Or other enemies that have weakspots closer to where a melee weapon would normally swing.

There's also several weapons that have ranged options available to them.

spears are good for targeted melee.
but every melee roughly adjusts its arc with your aim.

Oh right, I had forgotten about that. And also the different combat moves, as Suzaku pointed out. Now it makes more sense
