Siphoner is all damage
Only important things to know if that the minion get their lifesteal applied when they spawn, if u have the 10% lifesteal relic it wont give them lifesteal if they are already alive, but if you use the relic and spawn the summoner minions/turret after they get the lifesteal applied to them.
Otherwise, it's 3% of all kind of damage you do, so stacking debuffs on enemies can give you a little more healing in a pinch.
The weapon with the highest base damage, to my knowledge, is the Sporeshot at 200 base damage. That means 3% lifesteal gives you a grand total of 6 health per shot.
Shoot a target in the chest at level 0 for 200 damage: 6 healing. Shoot a target in the face at level 20 for 3k+: 6 healing.
Are you sure that base damage doesn't account for weapon upgrades? It was my impression that it disregarded body part modifiers and damage buffs (and potentially armour + debuffs?), but not weapon upgrades. It seems like those upgrades are baked into the weapon's actual stats, rather than applied as a buff.
If weapon level affected the lifesteal amount, then I would heal for triple the amount, since the damage of the weapon is triple at max level. If 3% lifesteal of 600 is 18, then I should be able to heal half my health in just 3 shots, which is not the case.
Well, thanks for the heads-up, then. This is quite odd, since weapons don't actually display their "base" damage anywhere in the game. Not after you've upgraded them.
