If you're a good player I need your help with Anihilation

first phase is easy but I need help with 2nd phase.

Annihilation was awesome.. Must have died 20-30 times through that encounter before finally learning the patterns, but man it was a great fight! Don't give up, you'll get there... Or have an epileptic seizure trying. That boss should seriously come with its own epileptic seizure warning, what a lightshow! :D

a small tip, the 2 phases get saved paused, your position where you look, what the oss is doing

Definitely one of the hardest bosses I've ever fought in a video game, but was also straight up fun. The chaos was great, and the experience with friends was top notch.

I thought I needed help as well.. Even had someone beat the 2nd phase, only for my game to crash.. :/

Next day, after 8 tries, I managed to beat him. Solo, on Veteran, Plasma Cutter +7 with Challenger / Engineer combo. The more life steal, the better too.

It'll be way harder with more than one person.

when he transitions to the second phase immediately roll to the left so you do not get locked in the middle

on the blades: they make a very special sound before rushing over, if you dodge right after you hear it you don´t get hurt

the red beams that come towards you can be dodged by ducking

if he makes the red circles they don´t damage you right away, they start exploding when the blade moves, they either explode front to back or right to left depending how he placed them, when he places them you also have time to deal damage as he won´t move the blade until all circles are placed, you can dodgeroll right into the explosions to not get hit



you can play it save when in the digital place and only deal damage in the dragon face if that helps you

if you have burning bullets or corrosive bullet mod these help a lot in destroying the balls before they attack you as the dot kills them quickly


the ring that increases your evade window does wonders with this boss as well

Also... the BEST place to fight him on the 2nd phase...dead in the center.. I kid you not. That's exactly how I beat him.
