You're also going to spend a huge amount of time at the wiki page of the game since there's a metric ton of obscure stuff you can find.
Further, there are intrinsic difficulty settings based on your gear and Archetype progression, 1 - 20, and an additional rule setting - such as if you are Power Level 10, and enter an area for the first time, it'll be PL 11. If you then upgrade your gear to 12, it will remain 11 until re-rolled.
There is also difficulty regarding game mechanics, such as the ridiculous swarming and excessive mob count - but that's on the player at this point
This is not accurate.
The best way is to leave all weapons at lv0 until you have 2 archtypes at level 10, then raise your guns to 20 afterwards.
It gives you a decent progression curve that still allows you to max all gear.
