What is with all the instant deaths?

I have full dragon hearts and instant die all the time now. No option to be revived. Also pet for Handler no longer revives players in multiplayer? It just sits there.

pet has a cool down you will see the icon when it is active. you need to tell the pet to save your teammates, far as i know it will only auto rez you.

If your dog is on cooldown and you die again after it has already resurrected you, and none of the other players in your group have dragon hearts (which you can see next to their life bars on the upper left side of the screen -- if number is 0) then you die instantly. Was you r dog on cooldown when you died? And like V4L1US said, you have to command your dog to resurrect dead teammates by pointing at them and hitting the skill button. When they have the white marker above them, that tells you the dog will revive them. But if the dog is on cooldown, i.e. just revived you, then he can't revive anyone else until your skill has cooled down.
