It being enabled by default without an option for traditional AO is surprising, considering how heavy of a process it is.
Edit: Apparently the required asset loader doesn't work on Steam Deck. Sorry, y'all.
Just looked it up, sounds promising, might just try and download the game as there's not rly much feedback coming in here on how it runs in its current state.
You need something else called Asset Mod, and specifically on the page of it, it says "does not work on SteamDeck yet."
Yes but below it says "tested and working". Maybe worth a shot. Tried streaming it, but it's too laggy. So i guess i won't get around installing 70GB again.
