Happily here, Cub. The sheer joy and passion surging through me as I hesitated initially, looking back and forth at the two before proceeding to mag dump a service pistol twice into the poor Doe. Still recommend re-rolling to get the other weapons, etc. But yeah, Ravger is as monstrous as he is neat. Glad he's got some lore too.
I loved the voice acting, to be frank. Got him and Mephisto in D4 in one year; sweet.

Honestly, I healed the Doe the first run just to get the satisfaction of a monster fight in the cutscene. I didn't even care about the Doe-save drop, the red doe staff is pretty lackluster imo.

But yeah, Ravager's infinitely cooler with his newfound ability to actually just have a conversation with you, I don't remember him talking in the first game but it's been a while. I kind of wish there was a way to just not fight him or kill/heal doe at all and get something really cool out of it.

Shoot the doe for the easiest boss clear you'll ever get, then shoot the Ravager next time around. THEN heal doe and kill Ravager, then kill both.

Maximum gains and story possibilities.
