Kidding aside, wait for the patch.
Yeah I think that's what I gotta do. I've messed around with the settings and it still stutters sometimes.
r.Streaming.PoolSize 5000
r.Nanite.Streaming.StreamingPoolSize 1024
It's cool. It's not so awful that I can't play it it's just quite annoying. Plus I'm addicted to this game rn lol
Hey where can I find/input this? Thanks
Try Medium settings, as benchmarks show it has virtually no stutter at medium or higher. This is supposed to be one major benefit of UE5 - less shader comp and traversal stutter.
Where did you find these configs? Do you know how to disable mesh shaders entirely?
Word to OP: these configuration go in C/users/username/appdata/local/remnant II/saved/config
Should be a file called usergamesettings.ini
I don't think you can turn off nanite.
And stutters happen on literally any setting.
On my end it's locked 60fps but it does get random stutters. I insist on random because it's not even while moving much, something like pressing a button will make it stutter.
This eliminates stutters for me and improves my lows across the board
This same fix worked for Jedi Survivor too before they officially added ReBar support for that game
I believe they made a typo. There's no such thing as i9 3900k, so I'm guessing they have a 13900k as also evidenced by 64GB RAM which is common on DDR5 platforms.
Yes sorry I made a mistake yes it's a i9-13900K
But i am on beggining on game.
Have you tried the small software available on nexus that let's you customise settings that's baked within the game but aren't available on both in game and config files ?
Here is the link.
And the R2 - Fixes and Improvements
The last mods make my game run at 1fps
Also this mod seem to disable online play
