kaelus rest key missing

so i'm on my third world on my campaign went through the dungeon till i came about a locked door which i couldn't open. a bit of goole searching and found out there should be a key in the same room ''strange i swear i got everything i found'' also found out it's a bug that some people have that the key just doen't spawn in ther dungeon so now i'm stuck and re-rollong a campaign 3 worlds in is a pain. a game breaking bug like this should have being rooted out in testing not in the released version of a ''full'' game.

I've ran several times through there and the key is in a corner in the back, it has a red glow like long gun ammo, maybe you missed it?

It happened to me during my first Apocalypse run and it was my last biome. I had to reset the entire campaign which sucked. I hope they fix this with the next patch as it really sucks if it happens to someone during their first playthrough.

No it's a bug 100%. The key SHOULD be there but for some reason it won't spawn into the world sometimes and there is nothing you can do to force it to spawn afaik.

Trust me i know where it should spawn but there is nothing on the ground i can screenshot the location where it should be laying and you can see for yourself that there is nothing there

If your not against it i have a fix for it but you need to install a mod from nexus mods that enable the command console in game soo you can spawn the key in not the best fix but atleast you can continue with the campaign.

and once you installed it to open the menu in game press F10 and copy paste this line in it
Summon/Game/World_Jungle/Quests/Quest_Miniboss_RootHorror/Items/KauelaTempleKey/Quest_Item_KauelaTempleKey.Quest_Item_KauelaTempleKey_C|Summon Quest_Item_KauelaTempleKey_C the whole thin then it should spawn at your location

doors can be opened from the other side. You gonna need a rando to do a high five. Go close to the door and emote the high five.

you need to somehow get the pug to understand to push action button on your hand.

go up to the door, face the door up close and personal.

do the high five emote.

hold "G" or the ping button to bring up the emote wheel.

should be the bottom right icon option.

once they high five, they should clip to the other side of the door and they can open it for ya

Bug was fixed in the Aug 17th patch.
