Make sure to kills his summons asap because they will tear you to pieces.
It helps if you can use your neutral dodge (tap dodge with no directional input) to evade his sword attacks as it doesn't reposition you as much as a normal roll.
Personally I just treated it like a Dark Souls boss and went melee during that phase then went back to guns when the fire storm is over.
You could also use engineer with the 3rd skill, since the damage of it keeps stacking and increasing.
I'd bring a healer class with you to lay down healing or shielding so you can help withstand the attacks, and remember you can dodge THROUGH a bosses attack so try to position yourself on one side of the circle and dodge through him to the other side.
