Ring of Omens - Cathedral of Omens WORKING SOLUTION

Right, I have had my Cathedral of Omens bugged, did some research and finally managed to get it. I don't know exactly what did it so I will give you some pointers on what I did:

- first of all follow this guide to get consistent blood moons: https://www.reddit.com/r/remnantgame/comments/15c4s3b/personal_observations_and_advice_for_consistent/
- I have rerolled map, with Forbidden Grove as starting location the next day just to be safe
- do not kill Ravager
- do it offline, solo
- have minimum 15 blood stone in your inventory (I read somewhere that this is the requirement), I am not sure, but first time I did attempt it I only had 7
- follow this guide on how to unlock the doors: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YDsrBniNyhQ

For clarity do not open ANY doors without bloodmoon. Then when you get blood moon follow the steps in youtube guide where you do 1st puzzle first, then 2nd and as you walk into the room it will work, as it did for me.

I don't know which of the above worked exactly I suppose its the youtube guide that helped because I think the blood moon door requires you to do the puzzles in order as its in the lore book in game.

In any case, hope this helps you guys, I know I had my level of frustration with this garbage.

This is completely wrong, the door opens if there is an active bloodmoon, same with the door in the royal gardens.

I opened all the doors except the blood moon door. I later came back when there was an active blood moon and the trap door opened.

It is possible for the blood moon to disappear while zoning into the dungeon. Within the dungeon, there's a hole in the ceiling near the entrance that you can look through to see if the sky is still red or not.

The game is a hot buggy mess atm. I have initially opened the red door in bloodmoon first and it bugged. Some people say it worked for them. I had to find a solution to unbug it and this is what did it.

Although before i deleted and started my new char, It worked when next to the grove and i was in co op

i've opened the door with omen ring after i've cleared whole puzzle with friend beforehand, so it does not matter at all whether or not you got loot before reopening the door with blood moon, i had a bunch of blood stones in my inventory so i can't tell whether or not this changes anything

I was trying to open it the first time and it was shut, someone joined my game and it immediately opened. perhaps they had stones.

Then i went to my campaign, farm rest of blood stones (got 20 in my inventory), go back to adventure mode and to the same Catedral of omen map where door didn't open. I started rerolling until i got Blood Moon and door opened for me!

Yes this is what happening to some people. It's also possible they need to wait a few seconds for the door to open if the blood moon is still up. I've read it can take 10 seconds, although for me it was always instant.

I can confirm the number of blood moon essence in your inventory has nothing to do with if the blood moon trapdoor opens for you or not. I know because it opened for me when I had 1 or 2 essence in my inventory.

Additionally my cathedral was unlooted except for the two chests the trapdoor room so how many puzzles you have or haven't solved also has nothing to do with it.

I tried to open the trapdoor twice in the same adventure on two different days (real time, not in game days). The first time it didn't open. The second time it did.

As far as I can tell the only thing that was different between both attempts is that the first time I tried I left the outer door on the trapdoor room open. The second time I shut the trapdoor room's outer door before checking it. To be clear there was an active blood moon both times I tried.

So maybe leaving the door open broke the trigger for the trapdoor? Make sure all doors are shut before you leave the cathedral.
