How relic fragments work? Scratching my head

Still a bit confused about the relic fragments. So their effects are only activate when consuming a relic charge? If so, how long do they last??

the relic fragments are a passive effect that you get as long as they are applied on the currently equipped relic. so up to 3 relic fragments providing their passive buff at one time

They are passive bonuses. they can go from +0 to mythic grade. Whenever you pickup the saem type of relic it will upgrade it if you already have it.
The bonuses are always in effect as long as they are slotted into your relic

By the way if you want mythics start adventure mode in apocalypse and the go shoping
raryity goes up to mythic

yup its the last upgrade version a fragmnet can get
overhaul a massiv passiv upgrade like 10% crit chance 10 % range damage and so on
