Any traits that boost equip load / encumbrance limit?
I found a ring that I thought would give me some equip load, but it just ADDED 50lbs of encumbrance. ;)

I wouldn't mind being able to wear something slightly chunkier without sacrificing medium load.
Or sticking with my current loadout and enjoy light load!

The "Rusted Navigator's Pendant" Amulet gives 15 Health, 15 Stamina, and -15 Armor Encumbrance

there is a ring that lets you fast roll no matter the armor. or there is Leto's amulet which is pretty neat.

Apart from that, Mudtooth sells a tonic that increases carrying capacity. These consumables last for 1h but remain active even if you die.

engineer trait will add 50% more armor on what your wearing
you might get more out of that then the challenger trait.
