there is only hardened metal in the world and there doesnt seem to be dismantling of metal like the first game had. Cass sells too little metal so how can i get a lot of it?

yeah dismantling should be readded.
Best fix i could find was too reroll the first world in advenvutre mode

What do you mean "the first world".
There's no first world.

I think, unlike the first game, you still loot all kind of metal even at higher power level.
I loot both iron / forged / galvanized in the same run.

There is dismantling of the weapons to downgrade them for the same materials you used but half the scrap back
