Difficulty and balance.
So, I'm playing Handler x Summoner and permanently have about 25% damage resistance 15 from the soul guard ring and 10 from a trait and since the dog can heal you and your minions give passive health regen and soul link means I am permanently topped up in a fight.
The Anistaijas inspiration rings Haste effect is permanently on because of summoners passive regen trait, when I use the mod on my secondary that jumps to 35% damage reduction and they have their own life steal on top of the rings.
I only use my artefact to get mod energy since I don't need healing.

I am almost invincible, I have died only by falling off the edge, every fight is now a dps check for the enemies to see if they kill me before I kill them and after every fight I'm full health.

I have switched classes because I'm not having any fun but I want to have minions, I love the idea but there isn't a struggle I might switch back if I find a more challenging area.

Is there a way to up the difficulty or will they balance the classes in the future?

reroll the world on a higher difficulty through the world settings menu at the crystal, do note it resets the progress.
that build shouldn't be performing that way on apocalypse, I'd say it's probably a comfortable veteran, or a good nightmare.
apoc is unlocked by beating the campaign once.

there will probably be balance changes in the future.

there's other ways to build minions too.
for instance the space crabs, tentacle & eye beam mods all count as summons.

if using the space crabs & medic (prime)/summoner, you could use something like the 20% damage after summon amulet, mod power generation, health regen after casting a mod.
the hp restored = mod power ring,
a bit of aoe size mod gen/skill cooldown as traits, and send wave after wave of exploding minions at your enemies.

throw in the lose HP, generate mod power relic to speed things up and you're sitting pretty happy as a glass cannon.

bruh even on veteran my guy is a 2 hitter quitter if hes not just folded with one hit. and that was with 49% DR with 155 health so i dont understand how you can tank things with 25%-35%DR. feel like i gotta just not be hit by anything unless its a chaff attack or some elite attacks. ranged attacks i can usually take 3-5 of depending on what it is.
but even the chaff attacks sometimes hit hard doing 50-100 damage as well. makes me wonder if enemy's can also crit back.
ive played various class combos but its all been mostly the same.

some of this is my own fault i have the farming accessory's on so thats basically one less ring and no amulet but come on. its like im just playing normal but this may as well be apoc my guys one-two hits either way it feels like to me. the main difference is just enemies have more hp

im not trying to sound to much like im really complaining its just how ive experience the game so far. but i get through the game relatively well it just seems like no matter what i feel like a glass cannon

"every fight is now a dps check for the enemies to see if they kill me before I kill them" you just summarized basically every game *slow clap*

No, a dps check is two party's standing and attack only, if every game is like this you need to broaden your horizons because games can be fun.

I can stand still (I need to for my amulet to give me dmg boost) and face tank trade with the bosses.

I was hoping this wasn't the answer, I haven't beaten the campaign yet and don't want to reset until I have.
It sounds like Apoc is what I'm after with the having to dodge and manage aggro.

vet isn't "easy" its the highest recommended difficulty if youre starting from scratch

Play in the harder difficulties.

Walk through the 4th difficulty and then you might be onto something.

Also many bosses have insta kill moves.

Veteran is "your alright mode no sweaty "

Try to play Nightmare from starting gear.

I would also not say its easy I think I just stumbled into a build that wasn't very balanced, to much healing and DR.

At the moment, Hunter is fine I have to avoid attacks and have a Burst window when I'm in a good position with my dogs 3rd ability and crit boosting with the Dreamweaver guns Mod.

Your literally playing on normal difficulty and saying the game is unbalanced, easy and your too good.
Pretty cringe ;p
