Engrams for Second Archetype

Is this something only obtainable solo? I obtained one playing solo for the Engineer, but then when my mate joined, the items wouldn't appear in that spot that he needed to get the same engram? Then when looking for the Alchemist one together, in Ironborough, I couldnt get the large creature to drag me into the drain, it never appeared. Just seems like any time we tried to get engrams in co-op the game wouldn't allow us?

If you collected something already in your world, it will not show again untill you re-roll the world again and find it again. Alternatively you can join him .

The dragging into the sewer for alchemist is random. It can happen at any of the sewer thingies.

engrams are not items you can get or pick up again.
The engineer has a chance to apear there, it's not 100% and maybe the creature dont apear in the same campaign/adventure for you if you have the archetype?

Seems like a weird choice to make, everything else you collect in co-op you both get together? why make obtaining Archetypes annoying like that.. So if we both want to obtain Archetypes together, we have to do it in our own worlds.

You really don't understand the answer, it seems. You already collected the item in SP, why would the item appear again during multiplayer on the same map?

In that instance I understand yes, I'm asking if only one person can obtain the Archetypes in Co-OP? If me and a mate found another one, would only one of us be able to pick it up? or would both obtain it, like the rest of the items do during co-op?

Also, for the alchemist: the things that involve death scripts are weird in multiplayer. If one player gets dragged, the other players should use liquid escape and they will all spawn in the arena. When you're playing single player it just takes you there since no one else is "Alive" so to speak. As for being dragged itself, I'm not 100% sure but in my world after I got dragged playing solo, even though I didn't beat the boss, I couldn't get me or my coop partners dragged when we came back for it. So I think the drag happens once per roll, but don't quote me on it, it's just my experience so far.
