And no I'm not being contrarian, I just don't think its the worst thing ever. I kinda liked having to shift my brain to solve puzzles over shooting things.
The enemies I only had to go through to kill once...? I had to run through the zombie horde to get to the floating platforms, but there weren't a ton of enemies to kill when I was solving the puzzle door.
To your benefit though, maybe your version of the Lament was more annoying than mine was. I know the traps are the same, but the layout can shift some.
I did it but I lost count of how much I died to that one trap. The armor looks cool though so worth it.
want to feel stupid?
you can Crouch through all Dart Traps...
Took like 3 deaths to get past the entrance. The invisible path requires zero jumping. You can match the runes and see which path to take lol. If you also look closely with a zoom you can see the path shimmering then obviously you can just shoot it.
its not random at all lol. The funny part is if you just sprint forward as you activate the blades you can follow behind it and run straight through the middle just moving to the side at the end for the blade coming back.
Overall this dungeon is great. I wish they had more like it. Its like 7 secrets shoved inside each other its a lot of fun.
The easiest way to beat it is - immediately as it starts begin sprinting behind the blade, swap sides run to exit. If your hesitate you die.
