Elite root enemy that got no weakspot?
In Endaira's End there spawns one elite that looks like a humanoid bare tree that walks slowly after you and if it get within like 5-10 meters its arm grows 10m long and does an impale attack. If you keep the distance it walks after you and pulls out a red heart/bomb and throws after you that sticks to whatever it hits and explodes after 5 seconds.

I shoot all over this one and only grey damage and very low like 5% of a normal hit. Since it takes more than all my ammo to take it down I stopped shooting them and just kite them around something and let my trusty dog wither down the health SLOWLY and try to stand fairly close so the mob take a little damage from his own bomb.

Does it not have a weak spot or at least unarmored spot?

Shoot the heart thing when he throws it. Does big damage to the main body.

It's a really stupid enemy. You're supposed to shoot the bomb (heart) it throws at you, which actually does damage to it.

There is a drill weapon mod that also creates weakspots on enemies.

Grenade launcher/explosive damage does a lot too.

Yea it only efficiently resists physical damage, fire and even root from the rot arrow mod do okay damage, but yes the most efficient method is to lure out the heart throw attack
