So, I've only played Remnant 1 so far (downloading 2 as we speak) so I'm not 100% on this, so please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.
But if it's anything like 1's world generation, you can re-roll the adventure and you will keep your progress on quest items you've picked up, meaning that it's technically not possible to finish a quest assuming some parts aren't part of your generation.
For Example: You could find Mudtooth and get his necklace, but not find his Son, the bandit, and therefore not get the armor set from that encounter in exchange for the necklace. You'd often have to re-roll the world until you found the other "Half" of the quest.
So it's quite possible you might not be able to get all of the parts of a quest without rolling the world again.
