first playthrough for me was 26 hours after explore MOST areas, second was around 11 hours of exploring only new areas, now im rerolling adventure mode to find things i missed on both of my playthroughs
you are supposed to explore and reroll your campaign/adventure mode and if you don't then you are missing out on most of the game
That's fine, but then you should accept you bought a game that's made to be played several times ( different bosses, puzzles, quests, zones, drops, etc... ).
what the point of grinding gear when you beat the final boss ?
that good to know
Leaving apart percentages ( aka "the majority of players" ), you should probably wait for a discount, if you intend to play it for less than 15 hours.
It's not side quests, each time you run through the game you get random bosses in each area and the layouts are different. If you only do 1 playthrough you will miss a huge amount of content.
so even though "there is no point when the final boss is the same" you are still finding brand new areas and bosses on your way to the final boss, and getting the opportunity to use brand new gear and archetypes
I am going to just be honest with you here:
This game isn't for you. If you rush the main story you can be done in a few hours no problem, and with your mindset there is no use in playing it after that anymore.
The game is designed around being played multiple times, that's why the adventure mode even exists. Every planet has multiple main stories with a truck load of side stories to explore, and you won't even get half of them by exploring everything on your first playthrough. And then there are just tons of secrets.
None of this does anything after you beat the final boss, other then the satisfaction for collectors. But because you are very obviously not one of those, then it's better to look for another game.
