Why so much enemy spam?

Maybe you can elaborate with footage video how smart of you defeat the game in apocalypse difficulty so we can know how "smarter" enemy you want

If youre in vet or survival difficulty i can definitely say the enemies are a tad too easy
Nightmare is what i had to crank to to finally feel threatened

It's not hard it's just my hand starts to hurt from the constant enemy spam.

I actually liked that. I felt exploring the original was so dead and barren and uneventful. Now it's like welcome to the meatgrinder!!!

It's always like that and on N'Erud if you got the bots they can even end up calling up more so you get extras if you aren't fast enough to dispatch them all. So it can end up in a never-ending swarm. Or it can bug out like the dungeon with the Progeny, and just have a never-ending wave for flying bots which locks you out of using the stones.

That's by design. Enemies = ammo drops. Boss fights WILL have mob swarms to give you ammo.

9 out of 10 don't even drop anything.
