Anyone who says there are no performance issues are just straight up ignoring the vast amounts of people saying the game runs like garbage. It's clear at this point there is a problem and if you can't see that just because your computer can run the game at 60 fps on all low settings, then just don't bother being a part of the conversation.

Those so called vast amount of people in reality are just the vocal minority. If the majority of people were having horrible performance like people try to claim then it wouldn't be siting at an 82%. Any of the reviews would have mentioned horrible performance. For some reason not a single review mentioned poor performance. That is weird. Maybe they aren't running on outdated hardware.

With the amount of people in that discord actively chatting you'd think you would've seen threads on reddit blowing up or screenshots but nah. You know what I've seen though? People who sincerely think that since they spent money on the game they get to behave like animals, say whatever they want, and have anyone affiliated with the game take it and be thankful. You've seen it time and again. Then when they get any sort of pushback they're the victims. Now that's not to say the game is perfect and it shouldn't ever be subjected to criticism. We all know though how entitled gamers act.

I would hope so. I'm sitting here with a glitched last boss with no way to progress and I'd really like to actually finish the game before rerolling the whole campaign

Captain furious has been in multiple threads all day crying about the devs, calling anyone who doesn't share his opinions bootlickers/shills, and generally being condescending and just a general ass. He clearly has some sort of axe to grind against this game and the devs and I sincerely hope he gets help. He sounds like he's really hurting.

so my 3090 and i9 are outdated huh? Last i checked, that exceeded the recommended specs by a landslide... and yet i still drop to 45 fps in some areas on all low settings. Seriously man it is not hard to see that people with good hardware are having performance problems for a game that doesnt have graphics that warrant it. The reviews on steam have been steadily dropping since release.

Hm.. I can run this flawlessly on my pc (3080ti i7-12700k) and I've even put around 10 hours into on steam deck. The deck averages about 38-40 FPS, sometimes diving below 30 if things get real crazy, but no major stutters. It might be something to do with your setup or software.

On my 1440p with 3060ti, 32g of RAM, Ryzen 5 5600x the game runs at 50fps at medium settings with NVidia DLSS set to balanced, at low settings it goes up to like 85 fps, other than that it seems that any other configuration is greatly under performing.

It seems the only thing that is doing barely decent is NVidia DLSS so yeah, a patch is needed.

Worst optimized game BY FAR. There's no need to sugarcoat that or defend the developers. Creating games with the use of dlss or fsr as a MUST is horrible, even more so when the fps are still low. Lazy bastards.

I really have no idea what's wrong with people or their rigs who having low FPS.
Small advice: stop buying video cards with less than 256 bit bus width. That's how companies cheating and scamming you.
My rig is i5-10400f, 16Gb RAM, Asus 3060Ti ROG and NVme.
High settings: 80-100FPS
Ultra settings: 70-90FPS
Medium settings: 110-120FPS
Having some drops in city.
