Dragon Heart Bugged

I press the button to use it and it doesn't work, and ive died numerous amount of times because of it. Im tired of buggy ass games!!

I'm using a controller, the game is broken. I hate this game and steam won't give me my money back. I've tried everything, when I'm in combat the dragon heart is gone. I press the button to use it and it does nothing.

I'm playing on PS5 and I had one instance where I couldn't use the ability of my dog at all... it was just grayed out.
And multiple times already, I couldn't reload manually anymore.

could be anything- I've got it running great on PC, and 60% of the time doge just sits ther while I die lol

The fall damage is inconsistent as well, you can jump off a cliff and most of the times you wont take fall damage, but when you hurdle a small fence you can instantly die.
