Dragon Heart upgrade bug?

so i upgraded my heart to 4 charges in a coop game with friends, later went back to my world, bought another upgrade, it did use up the simulacrum and the scrap but i am still at 4? restarting did nothing, stuff still gone, still 4 charges.

any ideas? how can i prevent this in the future? only upgrade in my own world?

Did you change your Relic for the one that reduce your amount of charges but increase its effeciency by accident ?

I had this happen aswel, but I do not think its a bug.
If you picked up the Simulacrum in coop and then again from the exact same location in your own world its like the game sees it as "already used and done" so it doesnt count.

No biggie though, you can still get max upgrades anyway.
