There is a ring for that
Trying to dodge the lasers would let you avoid the hand and the succ orb. It's the homing balls you have to shoot is what gets me most of the time since I don't use a weapon with lots of ammo so i end up reloading and get hit.
I find myself rushing to get through them. Gunfire Games makes bosses more annoying than enjoyable but this is just too far. The Tight Fov the crap AI for the Handler. Don’t waste my leisure time with this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.
Excluding his life when you understand what you need to shoot, today I still think that this boss has a problem with some adds, it does indeed need to be balanced. Sometimes I understand absolutely nothing of what's happening on screen with all the effects, if you're not lucky, it can be quickly a pixel soup.
First time It looked likes a RNG combat for me, you're lucky or you're don't with him. But some of his attacks, likes its lightning attacks, can be "easily" dodged by standing against the fog door.
After playing a bit more on fresh day. I take back my words.
It is quite challenging but fun boss. Defo most memorable boss fight with blast music.
Just gotta digest it slowly & relax.
Played in coop and he was quite hefty with Elemental Resist prefix, best shooting openings are when he slaps his black hole hand. And you can easily regen some of mod power on the hands.
Space Crabs do well for free dmg, and sentinel cube boss weapon can easily block drone range attacks. But during that fight i was only level 9 and single archetype so, not much of options. Just me LMG and doggo.
Though i wish they toned down with 1 add +1 more add per player. It is quite annoying. I know they serve as a ammo replenish but pls. Astropath was annoying, altought you can counter these minion spawns with secret weapon from labirynth ( eletric one )
Bro, how much is Gunfire paying you to suck their tiny pee pees?
In solo.
In coop the same, but we all need to equip that combo. First time it took us 2 days of swearing at the game to beat the boss.
Speaking of melting, when I reached this boss my damage was unexpectedly low and there was nothing I could do about it. Now I have the same build, and somehow am melting foes. Something is off with the scaling for sure.
why are you commenting? either you played on survivor or low tier vet
there's power scaling and difficulty scaling
outhealing anything isn't a thing anymore once you get into the game, just as it wasn't in the first game. you can build as tanky, with as much sustain as you want and s**t will insta-gib you or it will 50% you. the here mentioned boss: each tiny laser pebbel can nuke you, with pretty capped resis on higher power-scaling and difficulty.
a boss ain't good cause you like em
a boss ain't good cause you played it on pretty much the easiest setting
they pretty much build the core mechanics on From's formula, but forgot the balancing
most of the Remnant (especialy 2) bosses are just bad. they look'n sound pretty, but their whole design is straight outta bullet-hell-hell.
just play any From game and compare it to the f**king bullet-hell-light-show Remnant 2 throws at you. the Nightweaver? Spacegod? Godkingwhatthe**fkever?
it's laz0rs and tiny (homing) projectiles everywhere.
yes, you can beat all of em even on higher tier settings, but none of it is fun or good.
nevermind trying to play with a melee focus. it's great low tier, but god forebid you enter "endgame"...holy cow. same goes for pet-builds some try to sell as OP here. it's funny how people comment on balance when they haven't touched on the gameplay parts where it actualy matters. pets? insta nuked. their mod-damage upgraded summon-corpseplosion dps? laughable. full on bullwark, either so much reg and DR that you deal basicaly base damage? zoom lazer pebble from side and your HP is gone.
they realy didn't improve their horrible balancing when coming from Remnant 1, if anything i feel it's gotten worse. survivor and vet are kinda okay but thouch on the last 2 difficulties (and high power tier...which was probably the worst system they could've implemented as is) and it's just horrible gamedesign 101
