there is infact, as you can also run. i did that once to save time and it was fun but i was also on edge dodging the arrows xD

Can confirm: crouching is definitely not a guaranteed path to success on those waist high darts. There does not seem to be a rhyme or reason for why they hit you sometimes: it just be like that.

To me it seems that crouching sometimes doesn't work when I'm playing co-op. But single player I think it always works.
Anyway just for safety I still move to avoid the darts.

I think you crouch a little bit lower while moving than when sitting still. The only other thing I can think of, is a slight difference being caused by armor weight (different animation maybe?), the armor model itself or the gender body models.

It also might be the case that avoiding the darts just by crouching might've been unintended all along, given how everything else seems to indicate that you should be moving constantly. If so, this could be one issue we that don't want the devs to "fix".
