My second archetype is gone

I lost my secondary archetype. I cannot even choose it or change or use skill.
WTF is this?

Did you join someones lobby ?, because if you did there is a high chance they were using a trainer and it screwed your save file up and yes it can 100% mess around with your save file data if they are cheating and you are not.

Theres is also a know bug with a corrupted save file. work around on this is in the pinned topic for known issues .. worked for me when i lost all progress

yep it disappeared after i joined a game ( random ), is there any way i can bring it back ?

Just pick up a Trait point of the ground or from boss loot, this fixed it for me.

same and my traits point become -40 from max 60 points

-40? God their ambition is pitiful, after joined someone's lobby my traits point became -99999 from 60 points

People who mod/train their games while online and publicly joinable are scum of the earth. But if you haven't fixed it. Try and go through this https://steamcommunity.com/app/1282100/discussions/0/3809533247343844418/ luckily Gunfire games is a competent dev, so the game makes regular backups of your saves. Hope you figure it out.

Secondary Archetype REQUIRES you to have 10 trait points.
If you join some random public lobbies chance is someone modded their game and messed up your trait points. If they fall under 10 points, your secondary archetrype will be removed and you will not have the option to equip it until you get 10 trait points again.

Unfortunately I found this too late and all the backups are after I lost all 60 trait points, but it does in fact roll you back for anyone who hasn't found it too late

Feel bad man. I don't really keep up with forums and what not about the game and had no idea that this can happen. Well, happened to me and loading the backup saves didn't work. Only had the final boss fight left..... Guess I will have to restart a new save file. Now I am scared to play online.

Now here is how you can fix it, if the sav. file rename does not work. Since cheating online is to blame, we will use cheating ourself to fix it. Gross I know, but it works. Just use Wmod or whatever and add Trait points until they are not in the negative anymore. Then you can use your 2nd class slot again. And stay away from online with that character.

It seems when you hit 10 nonused points -> you can change architype.
