Whats the point of buying the deluxe edition?
Most of the content from the first game was hunting down guns and armor. It says that the armor can be gotten in game through normal gameplay so aren't you just robbing yourself of content by buying the deluxe edition?

Dude its not about "break game progression by paying more then standart edition-peasants", its about getting season pass

Not sure. Maybe to make Ultimate look like the better deal by comparison?

He's asking about Deluxe, not Ultimate.

I don't know how much "content" I'd call finding a couple armors out in the world, but I imagine most of the stuff in the editions is unlockable pretty easily in the game.

Deluxe is pretty useless, while the Ultimate edition is great.

No point. It just manipulation with your brain to make easier for you to buy Ultimate

20 bucks over base game for whole season pass is not that bad to be honest

The Ultimate Edition is cheaper than most AAA games here in Australia and considering it comes with the season pass it was an easy buy for me.

I would advise you check the price on EPIC. In my country is substantially cheaper then on STEAM. Yes, steam has better services but not to make it worth it at this price difference.

Its the first entry where you get set gear from the previous game.
I read it as; those armor sets are not find-able in the game otherwise.
I really wish one of the 3, would have been Labyrinth set.
But yea, the Ultimate is by far the best option.

It literally says that the armors are unlockable through in-game means even if you don't purchase Deluxe.

I was about to say this exact thing, people need to learn how to read.

I wouldnt say that you are. Youre only gaing 3 armors sets from remnant: from the ashes. Which is content you will more than likely not get through average gameplay and progression.

Paying to skip progression is popular in MMOs.
I guess Gearbox thinks its worth a shot in a Singleplayer/Coop game in a completely different genre.

Armor skills aren't even tied to armor anymore anyways, so all you're getting is the base armor and that's it. You can't even upgrade armor in R2 either.
