Canals, Bridges, and NPCs
The game is fun and all the buildings are down to detail. However, there are only limited number of NPCs with very limited social ranks in the game. When constructing each Fang, there are wagon drivers, merchants with camel, labors, and some intellectuals, all of which are rather nicely created. But once go back to those finished Fangs, basically very few NPCs will pop up, and that happens even after a while of fixing the camera in the Fang of focus. Thus, it would be great to have NPCs in those constructed Fangs whenever revisit them. Moreover, the East Market is just empty without any animals or NPCs, and that is rather a dull part in the city. Thus, it would be great to have high dense of people with all social ranks poping up in that Fang (I suppose so far the West Market is the same, though I haven't reached that milestone yet). Lastly, the royal palace and the Serpentine river park (Qu Jiang) could also have some nobles and royal family members to make those areas more lively and fun for player.

Regarding the terrain map, the 110 Fangs are wonderfully and accurately named after the history. But There are also canals running through the city, which I wonder is it possible to add them in the map, and consequently to add bridges to available buildings.

Anyway, a interesting game to play, and lots of factors to balance while in game, enjoy it!

About NPC:
Because I focus on architecture reconstruction, which had already cost much performance, I can not add too much NPC on the map. By now the number of NPC is under test of many times, if add more the frame rate will drop down.
In the next update I will add guards standing on the city gate and patrolling on the city wall, I will try to streamline it .

About Canel:
There are many canels in Chang'an, but there will be a lot of work to do before adding them, like adjust certain Fang's building blocks. I will do more research work and implement them with the West and East market.

Thanks for the info! The buildings in the game are superb, and I understand the trade off between the those and NPCs. Looking forward to the next update which will have guards patrolling on the wall and the gates, and also hope for the update of the two markets!

不知什么原因,发不了新帖,借个楼。
1、游戏视角过于生硬,操作起来不是很方便,经常找不到角度或者移动起来很别扭。可以借鉴类似帝国、星际争霸等操作方式可能更符合用户习惯。
2、人物,除了建造的时候有马车驶过,其余时间街边、坊中看不见其余人物,建造的水池、公园等设施如果没有几个人在里边游玩,总感觉有些诡异。
3、面板,建造的时候面板西安市不合理,经常一个坊建造一大半,才能发现缺水、缺欢乐值,而此时再等待黄金等资源的时候,会感觉很无聊,如果加快速度,感觉又很浪费时间,导致体验很不好。
4、游戏总体来说还是不错,特别是当成一个观赏古代文化、游玩古都的游戏来说,但进入游戏之后,没有明确的目标,很容易进去之后发蒙。
希望游戏有所改进,能有更多的东西融入进来。

1. 关于相机视角控制方式
因为我决定使用原大小复原的方式,因此相对其他模拟建设类游戏,地图要大很多,而且因为建筑细节消耗大量性能,如果用传统俯视视角,经测试,不仅移动不便,而且不能很好展现建筑细节,浪费机器性能。关于操作方面我会进一步加以改进,做到游戏性,系统性能,真实性的平衡。

2. 关于NPC
因为建筑消耗了大量性能,因此作为装饰的NPC只能尽可能精简,目前的NPC数量是经过大量测试的结果。不过在未来的版本中我会做进一步的优化,比如会加入城墙上的卫兵,在花园和湖泊加入动物等等。

EA版本发布后,我也一直在做更新版本内容,为方便查阅,如有需要您可以在论坛或者Steam中私信我。如果您觉得这个游戏不错,可以在商店页面给与评价,让更多玩家能够看到这个作品,谢谢了:)

我也来借个楼,同样发不了新贴。
这款游戏作为个人开发的来说,感觉用心了,也很有潜力。
不过目前来说确实还不算很完善,提一些建议:

1. 其实唐长安包括中国建筑的屋脊主体还是以绿色和灰色为主,高等级绿,低等级灰比较合适,并没有红色的。
2. 感觉人物模型目前和建筑比例不太协调,人物过大不知道是不是不调好调整。
3. 水利系统如果可以最好可以类似天际线那种走一些地下或者水渠,其实中国古代一直有明渠暗渠的系统,并不需要非要在旁边修建水池这点保存较好的唐代过水涵洞在含光门遗址博物馆内里面有介绍长安的下水系统的影像。
4. 另外就是寺庙似乎有时候会遇到建设不出来的问题,我的坊内人口很多但是无法建设寺庙(不知道是不是我的问题)。
5.再就是命名上的小建议,大雁塔应该叫大慈恩寺,小雁塔叫荐福寺更准确些,神庙也应该直接写为寺庙。

6. 最后这部分只是建议,作者一个人做如此多的模型确实也挺幸苦,但其实唐代建筑细节上还可以更加丰富,但不要参考大唐不夜城这些东西那些东西其实完全不符合唐代情况,唐代市场都在东西两市,其他地方很少会有商业建筑为了游戏性加点还能理解但泛用就过于有问题了,除了大宅其实还是建议作成全部悬山顶的合院,用歇山过于突兀且不符合古代形制(虽然游戏都希望弄些艺术效果能理解但个人觉得学习真实情况凸显大型建筑的宏伟削弱小建筑也是能提升效果的)。
