Anno 1404 - History Edition

Does this History Edition differ any from the original Anno 1404 / Dawn of Discovery?
Or is it just a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ cash grab?

€dit: Did some searching. And no. It does not really change anything regarding the game itself. It's basically a tech update, allowing it to run on 64bits, which also takes care of an end-game crash problem in 1404 and it's now running at higher resolutions up to 4k. I think I'll skip this one as I don't really have any trouble with ye olde 32bit, full-HD Anno 1404.

Bump. Same question. From the screenshots, the graphics don't look much different. But there were also some long-standing bugs that needed fixing. Maybe they done something in that respect? Kinda hoping for new missions. I wonder if the account I need is a uPlay account or the old-school Ubisoft account we always had.

Also: Why the ♥♥♥♥ haven't they included the achievements on Steam? The game does have an achievement system.

It probably is a cash grab, for it not to be that, it's glaringly obvious that not enough has changed. But I'd be okay to spend 4,50 if they did SOMETHING worthwhile.

Anyone know the ins and outs of this edition?

Regarding achievements. This game is quite old and not getting any support anymore. For any newer gadgets, you probably have to go to Anno 1800.
Have you tried the Venice version of 1404? It adds a few new features to it and some more variety to missions. But pretty much the same gameplay.
