Gold ship is missing

I have a million year old profile with about 90% unlocked. I was very happy when I found out this is compatible with the History Edition... thanks, MUCH appreciated.

Only thing that is missing is the Gold Ship. I am 1404% positive that I had it unlocked, but it is greyed out when I start a new game (continues).

Is this a known issue?
When I load an old save game, it's still there.

When you say load an old save, is this an earlier save file or are you loading it onto the original version of Anno 1404?

Would it also be possible to please share screenshots showing the Gold Ships availability between saves?
