Get it someone running on Linux using Proton?

Hello,
itś my first try with Proton on Linux Mint and the Game starts but then keeps hanging on the Caution and Warning Screen.
The whole System freezes and i do have to do a hard reset.

Would be great if someone could give me ana advice.

As the game was not designed for Linux, I don't have any steps that I can personally offer. However, I expect this is an issue some Proton users will experience at some point and Proton's help page should be able to help.

You need to edit (Engine.ini)
...../ compatdata/1281630/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/Application\ Data/Ubisoft/Anno1404/Config/Engine.ini

Look for: <DirectXVersion>0</DirectXVersion> and change to <DirectXVersion>9</DirectXVersion>

Even if you get it running the multiplayer does not work.
I am really eager to buy this game but until it does not work with linux / steam deck I cant.
