How to patch unofficial Anno 1404 History Edition wrong version

I have version V4.00.4253/1.5231.951665, the unofficial version requires 2.1, the readme tells me so.

Has anyone fixed this?

As far as I know, you have the latest Steam game (History), and this unofficial patch refers to the old and not Steam version of the game, i.e. the regular version with DLC, or the "Gold" version.
Here is what I can read in the wikipedia (and it is also in the Fandom pages):
"On November 25, 2010, a third patch was released to address (among other things) a serious save game bug, patching the base game to version 1.3 and the Venice expansion to
version 2.1. The 'Gold' version of the game that includes both the original game and the Venice expansion was also patched in November 2010 to version 3.1, which combines all the changes of the version 1.3 patch of the base game, and version 2.1 of Venice."

Now, it seems that this unofficial patch is also good for History, if I believe what is in the Fandom page:
"Anno 1404 History Edition

In June of 2020 Ubisoft rereleased Anno 1404 under a new global title "History Edition.
This version is based on Anno 1404 version 1.3 and Anno 1404 version 2.1. The History Edition fixes a number of serious issues, such as out-of-memory problems. However, the History Edition fixes almost no other quest or interface bugs. Therefore, it is recommended to still use the Unofficial Patch ported to the History Edition. "

There is a reliable link in this Fandom page, try it. It should work... I am going to try it myself as it seems that some very important quests and achievements (especially for the Gold Ship) are broken, and I am stuck...

I confirm that the unofficial patch, if it is the latest one, works in the History version.
Be sure that you have downloaded the file with the name : " Anno1404-History-Edition-UnofficialPatch-v1.10.7z"
The pdf file in it still refers to the old (2.1) installation.
However, in this zipped file, there is also a docx file explaining that the patch was modified for the latest History version.
And after installation, it works for me.
