How to set an amount of resources to be kept ?

I want to keep at least 20t of ropes in the warehouse for when I need to build a new ship, and sell the rest through trade routes. How do I do it ?

You can sell excess goods on the trade place of warehouse using red slider for amount to be kept. Not sure if it has any point to send ships on trade routes for selling goods and I guess there's no way to adjust amount for this, unless take everything and unload back how much you want to keep.

though you can send ships to sell goods at neutral harbors, they will always take a cartain amount of goods, you can edit the amount they take from your warehouse (generaly starts at 40t) so they take less, if done right it should take the exect amount of goods produced in the time it takes to travel there and back again.

Not sure how profitable it is to set up routes for selling goods on other harbours. So i checked recently on a route at Giacomo's harbour ropes were sold for 30 each while leaders and AI's are buying ropes on your warehouse for about 100 coins. Besides, the number of ships is limited, you need naval military for quests, for making war, to keep at your capital harbour and may be for convoying routes. The less routes you have the better.

I have a similar problem. Currently playing 'The man with the mask' missions and I am constantly running out of resource - mosaic.

Strange thing because neither homes require/use it, nor any trade or production. What is produced, after a few minutes I have 0 in stock again.

Mosaic is used for upgrading nomad's houses to the envoy level, to avoid consumption deny automatic ascension on the bazaar of the settlement
