How much of a horror game is this?
I have played some of the other dark pictures / supermassive games and this looks to be the least "scary" / horror out of them all? Is it worth playing during this Halloween season or does it just not fit the vibe?

I mean it surely fits halloween vibes but it´s more action packed than previous titles that is right .. for good creepy atmosphere other three games are better

Its more of a creature feature. This game always gives me The Descent vibes.

the most horrifying thing i have seen so far is the main cast of characters... they all suffer from what i can only describe as " pigeon head syndrome " and are all genuinely unlikable. good luck mustering up any kind of empathy and feeling the need to save anyone.

The game is basically a cross between Predator and The Descent. The scares are a bit above Predator (which to me isn't even slightly scary and isn't even really a horror movie) and a bit below The Descent. I didn't find it scary at all, but the atmosphere was definitely a little more dark and tense than something like The Quarry, which is straight-up 0% scary and Supermassive's least scary game. Nowhere near as scary as Little Hope (imo the only truly scary Supermassive game), and a large part of that is because most characters in this game are armed and can easily fight back.
Tension atmosphere but not horror or scary and its gore only if suck to rescue anyone Until dawn was lot more gore and horror but it was teen horror this is more adultery casters and more like Mystery/thriller/action
