Controller does not work during dialogue choices

I am having an issue where my controllers will work for every other function except during dialogue choices, so my characters are always selecting "Say Nothing"

Tried multiple controllers with no luck on any of them.

Any solutions?

I had the same issue but with attack cut scenes (like returning fire during a shooting scene.) The only fix that worked for me was switching to kb&m. If you don't mind playing that way, that might be your best bet.
