And by the way, there's no definitive proof that all of these games take place in the same universe, on the same timeline.
Would you rather they spend extra money, time, and effort on creating all-new models for every single entry in the anthology? Because that would increase the waiting time for each new release, and may even necessitate a price INCREASE as creating highly detailed character models is a serious challenge.
It's not like they could just cobble together a new, fully functioning model or two in a couple of days. That's not how video games like these work.
and no one said anything about the games being in the same universe or timeline except you. Do better and actually read what was said before spreading misinformation.
Lastly, i would prefer extra money and time spent on a game to get a better product. Don't know why you wouldn't want that.
Because i make fun of them in Little Hope, it was nice to see them again
There is also a newspaper article referencing this game in Man of Medan aboard the ship, dated 1947 saying that a group of archaeologists from the "Hodgson Expedition" went missing in Iraq.
Pretty sure the devs stated they were just "little easter eggs." Easter Eggs don't necessitate being part of the same universe. Sometimes a spoon is just a spoon; an easter egg is just an easter egg.
However, having said that I would be surprised if the Little Hope diner wasn't a deliberate tie in to the universe. The rest of it though, that's just little snippets and easter eggs pointing toward future games but it could become cannon very easily.
