Stop using the same characters!!!
You did it in Little Hope and now this game once again. You expect people to believe that John from Little Hope can pass as an Iraqi Soldier?!?

You used Charlie from Man of Medan in Little Hope AND this game too. Not just him, you use his buddy Joe from Man of Medan in this game too.

You can't afford to hire new actors and actresses for the other parts in the Anthology? What gives? That's just lazy and annoying af. Takes me outta the game especially when they play a main character again just like Alex from Man of Medan being Nick in this game.

I noticed that too but the actors do a great job in this. they all play the parts well especially the guy who plays Jason in this. He does a great job. The female lead is a different actress totally and Nick even though he is same actor that was in man of medan, he also does a great job playing this character. he actually is better in this than in man of medan. Maybe they have a good reason for using them. could be that they wanted you to notice they were the same actors. who knows. i thought it was cool. but....... everyone's entitled to their own opinion. :)

this isn't a AAA game, let them do what they can with their budget

Actually, they are recycling character models, not actual actors.

And by the way, there's no definitive proof that all of these games take place in the same universe, on the same timeline.

Would you rather they spend extra money, time, and effort on creating all-new models for every single entry in the anthology? Because that would increase the waiting time for each new release, and may even necessitate a price INCREASE as creating highly detailed character models is a serious challenge.

It's not like they could just cobble together a new, fully functioning model or two in a couple of days. That's not how video games like these work.

Actually, the character models are created to look like the actors they hired

and no one said anything about the games being in the same universe or timeline except you. Do better and actually read what was said before spreading misinformation.

Lastly, i would prefer extra money and time spent on a game to get a better product. Don't know why you wouldn't want that.

In HoA in one the flashbacks Rachel and Eric stop at the diner in Little Hope.

When i saw Taylor and Daniel in House Of Ashes, i was so happy !!!
Because i make fun of them in Little Hope, it was nice to see them again

Next time we want to see Chris Evans and Rebecca Fergusson or someone like that. I hate to see always the same faces. It's enough for me to have to look at my own stupid face in the mirror every morning.

There's a flashback in this game that shows the diner from Little Hope, with the same "Little Hope" sign shown from that game.

There is also a newspaper article referencing this game in Man of Medan aboard the ship, dated 1947 saying that a group of archaeologists from the "Hodgson Expedition" went missing in Iraq.

I don't mind them using the same models as long as the characters are unique, def American horror story vibes on that. After playing this title first I hoped maybe later the characters of each story would meet up in later series, then played MOM and realised that's prob not gonna happen given the reused assets. Still decent game.

I'm pretty sure it was a deliberate choice to show some carry over from previous games. They use one or two characters from previous games and have them make minor appearances in the next games. Clarissa was one of the students in Little Hope btw.

Pretty sure the devs stated they were just "little easter eggs." Easter Eggs don't necessitate being part of the same universe. Sometimes a spoon is just a spoon; an easter egg is just an easter egg.

However, having said that I would be surprised if the Little Hope diner wasn't a deliberate tie in to the universe. The rest of it though, that's just little snippets and easter eggs pointing toward future games but it could become cannon very easily.
