Game Bug in co-op cannot continue

During the ending of "The Assault" the game refuses to continue past the loading screen, both myself and co-op player get a black loading screen with "Waiting for other players" in the upper right corner. We've verified game cache, loaded steam as administrator, reinstalled, you name it. Even went back a couple of scenes.

Yeah I've tried everything, even sent a support ticket, hope they'll respond and I'll post the solution here

If it is anything like the past 2 games, it will not be solved ever ^^
Try reloading teh chapter (would still not work in the other 2 but can't hurt to try i guess).

Yeah, I've seen they don't do anything, reminds me of Little Hope where I had Daniel die at one point, and had to reload to keep him alive lol.

But yeah we've reloaded the chapter many times as well, it's unfortunate, hopefully there'll be a possible fix or work around soon.

Yeah please let us know :c idk how others don't get this error but we do... it's sad cause I'm really invested in this game.. and this just makes me wanna not play anymore this is the 2nd time sht liek this happened to me from man of medan and now.

I'm not sure either, maybe they're not doing co-op mostly? I'm not sure, still waiting on a response from support.

Currently they're just saying "restart on a new save" which is ridiculous.

Yeah I don't think that would fix it but I might give it a go with my friend and see what happens.

Now I have a problem with the "movie night" (Curators cut) mode at the beginning of "Enemy of my enemy". During the first dialog selection a pop-up appears which politely informs me that there ist a "fatal game error" and the game will be closed. I can ignore it for about a minute or so and go on, but eventually the game crashes. I already tried to restart the chapter or starting the previous chapter, but it always ends with a crash. Does anyone have a similar problem or even a solution?

So far I haven't seen that problem being mentioned, anywhere, I recommend maybe googling a little bit, but otherwise contact support.

If that was the case your friend is probably doing Jason part or you are waiting your partner: Rachel to complete her story section. Be patient.
if it is bugged then don't alt+tab during loading screen next time.
