did i miss something ?

i could love it , but i have really hard time slecting what plane i will follow in 3D.
i'd like to select it on the tactical map , but i don't find a way to do so. i have to use the Order Of Battle panel and click on pilot name but i m never sure wich one is wich. is there a tip ? thx

yeah had the same problem i would have thought this would be more intuitive but guess not page up and page down and then open the map to see who i have selected is the best way i have found

It works with ships , you can select a ship on the map and the camera will be locked on it on the 3D world. why doesn it work for planes ? i can't play the game at all because of this , it's sad :(

You can select an aircraft and follow it like the ships. Need to go into 3d mode once selected, also can hit space bar to bring up a 3d tactical map. a

I'm also able to follow planes. In map view I use the roster on the left side of the screen and click the + buttons so I can see what the planes are doing. When it says "engaging target" I click on it go to the 3D view and personally witness my demise. :)

Yes, but his original gripe is legitimate. He doesn’t want to have to use the roster on the left side of the screen to find the pilot he wants to follow. There can be dozens and dozens of names up there after all.

He wants to just be able to click on the airplane and it will follow it.

I agree. I've been able to do it by clicking on a plane but it is a PITA.
