I use to do this sort of thing a lot in the past, but had gone away from it for quite a few years and am just "re-learning" again myself as I work through my custom league creations, lol.
Here's some constructive crit (i hope):
It would be better if your helmeted logos had an invisible background rather than showing the white (use Dreamteam's helmeted templates to make it easier for you - he's got some terrific templates on his site to make it easier :-) ).
Also, it is entirely possible to get mini logos on the actual helmets in game, instead of the dots (as you have seen many of the other modders accomplish). The default size is a 4x4 pixel cross-like dot . However, you can get some partial logo distinction if you resize your main logo and use 5x5 pixels (or 6x6 which is doable in some cases, logo dependant- I also usually shave the corners off to make a quasi-cross as well (again, logo dependant)). I recommend either using Smartsize or Bilinear modes for resizing (and set the re-sampling to as sharp as you can if you have that option) - the weighted average (which is normally the best go-to format for resizing doesn't work all that well with things this small as it "mutes" the image too much when you need a bit more color "pop" for these little guys, lol). I am not sure which graphical editor you are using (I personally use PaintShopPro X8) - but both Gimp and PhotoShop all can do the very same thing. Beprepared to use your eraser tool to remove some pixels here and there as you paste them on to the player uniform sheet as you don't want to cover up or go over the back black helmet outline nor the facemask - it's a bit tedious, but at least you don't have to do it twice (you can add a new raster layer of the other uniform set and paste in on so it matches up but doesn't cover the 32 or so logos you've just positioned) Oh also, when you do the uniform colors (I am assuming you are using the in game editor - which works just fine for this), it easier to choose a really contrasting standout color for the logo there as it is easier to see when you cover them with your own using your graphical editor. This is of course if you want to go this route (you may be fine with the dots (?), it's entirely up to you :-) ).
I am sure some of the other great graphical modders can lend some tips as well :) The whole thing can be a tedious process, but it gets quicker and quicker as you learn it and do it more -- and ya, I know the struggle too, lol.
All the best and thanks for this :-)
IGTBN - as Redwolf was saying, nice effort! I would recommend using either one of these free open source image editing tools: Gimp or Paint.NET. The former, in particular, does a pretty decent job emulating most of Photoshop's functionality and it's relatively easy to use. And best of all, it should also allow you to use DreamTeam's templates to easily create and edit your helmets and other images. Give it a shot.

(and these templates are great, and totally suffice - I mean I have a full 3d helmet with shading and full 3-d look, but it doesn't really "fit" for the graphics and feel of this game -- and the one DreamTeams has available completely works really well) - anyway, look through, they are there to help you :-) (though I recommend using the in game editor for the actual uniforms (easier and works fine - but you will need to play around with the .png game outputted uni files in a 3rd party graphics program (eg. Gimp) if you want to add proper logo's on the helmets) - Also you need a rgb to hex color conversion utility to get precise colors if using in-game editor for uni's - like this one: https://www.rapidtables.com/convert/color/rgb-to-hex.html ).
I've started tinkering with it a bit. For way to get higher quality helmet graphics, I'm doing some light editing of the helmets from here http://www.nationalchamps.net/Helmet_Project/
Snips from my early test with the Als helmet are here:

Unfortunately that site has only left facing helmets. For some teams you can just invert it, but for others that'll make for backwards writing or logos. For now I'll just live with the inversion. Later I could try to edit them to fix it, or just create new helmets using the higher resolution templates that DreamTeams made. I won't put much work into it just yet since I know others are already working on this mod.
For the field, I'd suggest that instead of making midfield as the 55 yard line, we could mark it with.a 'C' like many Canadian fields do (see https://i.ytimg.com/vi/jt6-sIms8-k/maxresdefault.jpg ). That makes it a bit less jarring in the game while retaining the Canadian look. Of course it is also more work to create than just copying the 5, so there is a downside.
I created a generic championship logo that'd work for any CFL season.

I'll post some of these files once I'm done tinkering.
Nice!!

For a better BC helmet, I used an alternate logo with no lettering. For Saskatchewan, I used their current alternate logo and edited from there. It is a bit easier to flip since it is roundish. The result adding these alternative helmets is here:

It'd be nice to turn some of the remaining white outline into transparent outline, but that'd take more work and skill than I have tonight.
