Is it worth playing both games?

Couldn't find this question in the first 8 pages of the forum so... is it worth playing both games? Or should I just buy the 2nd? Cheers. :)

IIRC, the first game lets you choose between evil-good and evil-evil, while the second doesn't. You also play a different character between the first and second game. I'm still trying to complete the first game, so I can't tell you much about the second game because I don't want to break sequence.

Personally both games are pretty good. The second one is superior to the 1st one in almost all aspects of the game. In my opinion i enjoyed the humour of the first one more then the second. The second has much better gameplay and much more variety in missions.

I think u should buy both its only 5€ for the 3 game now. I played both + the raising hell totally worth the time :D and funny and awesome u know cos Evil always find a way ^^

The game is so good IMHO, that only one just isn't enough. Heck, I am still hoping for another one. So I would say for sure playing both is worth it. But only thing we got so far is over a year old statement from Triumph, that they are working on something like Overlord, but no comfirmation whether or not it will be Overlord 3.

I always come back to the game once in a while, because it's just so much fun, and not many games on PC like it (honestly, I can't think of a single one ATM).

Overlord is a game that you will never forget about after playing. It's just that good.

Wow.. thanks for all the great replies! I think I'll grab both. I was worried about burning out by the time I reach the 2nd but you're right, they're so cheap I may as well snap them up now.
