What's up with the Overlord series?

Since Codemasters became one with EA, we haven't heard anything about Overlord. Is EA trying something with the IP or is Overlord still forgotten? Also, the reason we never got Overlord 3 (we got FoE) because Codemaster sold some of their Shares in 2015 and couldn't do a Overlord sequel (heard this from someone, don't know if it's true).

The reason we never got Overlord 3 was because they made a trash cash grab in Fellowship of Evil trying to cram idiotic multiplayer into a franchise that wasn't made for it, and they released it in in basically an early beta build that was unfinished and absolutely trash technically, which obviously resulted in such horrible sales that they lost money and shelved the series.

Even if EA decided to make Overlord 3 it would be another trash cash grab. EA has never, EVER made a rebooted franchise good, and they would cram idiotic multiplayer and loot boxes into it to try and milk it for cash.

The best you could ever hope for would be for another company to buy/acquire the IP and make Overlord 3.

Yeah unless EA goes all the way to make a remastered collection that has Overlord 1, 2, and the Dark Legend game to get people to interested in it. It's sadly dead, or could be turned into an awful mobile game like what happened to Dungeon Keeper.

That's true for the moment buddy but if we group up and let them know there's still a fanbase wanting more out of it. There's small chance they will listen and give us what we want bud.

Sure thats true... BUT it's owned by EA now so I would't keep my hopes up!
